Questions about Tapeline
What is Tapeline?
Tapeline gives US stocks, ETFs and crypto coins a score from 0 to 100. Each score comes with a short reason in plain words. It scores about 11,500 US stocks and ETFs, plus more than 100 crypto coins.
What does the score mean?
A higher score means more of the things we check look strong right now. A lower score means fewer do. A score is not a buy or sell call.
How fresh is the data?
Stock prices are about 15 minutes behind. Most scores change about once a day.
What does the free trial cost?
30 days free. You need a card. You pay $0 today, then US$19.99 a month until you cancel. Cancel online any time. One free trial per person. If you have had a trial or a paid plan with us before, you pay from the day you start.
What do I get with Premium?
- Every row of every screen, not just the first 10.
- Save up to 100 screens.
- A watchlist of up to 200 stocks.
- An alert when a score goes past a number you pick: email and browser push, up to 50 alerts a day in total.
When will I be charged?
At the end of your 30-day trial, if you have not cancelled. We email you about 7 days before the first charge.
How do I cancel?
Go to your billing page and press Cancel. It takes a few clicks. You do not need to email or call us. If you cancel during the trial, you pay nothing.
Can I get my money back?
On the monthly plan, ask within 30 days of your first charge. We refund all of it. Email support@tapeline.io.
Is this financial advice?
No. Tapeline is general information. It does not know your goals or how much money you have. Ask a licensed adviser before you buy or sell.
Is my card safe?
Stripe handles your payment. You type your card on Stripe's page. We never see or keep your card number.
Do you sell my data?
No. We do not sell your personal data. Our Privacy page lists what we collect and why.
Who runs Tapeline?
Tapeline is run from Melbourne, in Australia. You can email us at support@tapeline.io any time.
